Here's To Last Night

(Wake up),
wondering where I am again.
(Who's that),
lying naked next to me?
(I wanna bail),
I can't find my underwear,
but I'm out,
I'll grab myself another pair.
(Get outside),
I'm lost I don't know where I am.
(But thats okay),
it happens time and time again.
(My friends will know),
they'll pick me up and get me home.
I've got them I know I'll never be alone.
Here's to last night, we can't remember.
Here's to tonight, we'll do it over again and again.
Grab a beer, party's starting down the hall.
Its all we need, we know we'll never have it all.
Flat broke, we may not have the cash or cars.
We've got this, we're living like the night is ours.
(Its time to go),
we're heading to the party now.
(No cabs),
we'll figure out a way somehow.
(Sing along),
to all the shitty songs we know,
all in hopes of gettin' drunk and taking them home.
Here's to last night, we can't remember.
Here's to tonight, we'll do it over again and again.
This is our time, we're not growing up, or growing old.
This is our time, we're not growing up, we're not coming home tonight.

$5 With A Canned Good

We fell apart but we had it all when,
Saturday was about velocity.
The formac hit the breaks down when
a little band ruined life, what it meant to me.
Honestly, I never thought I'd see the end of my small town punk rock scene.
Back then, with a shitty combo amp,
and there were kids with thousand dollar cabs.
And overtime your band would play the show,
you'd pack up the van and your mom would go,
"Hey back it right up to the venue doors", and carry everything to the second floor.
Honestly, I never thought I'd see the end of my small town punk rock scene.
We had it all, but we watched it fall, my small town punk rock scene.
We play 247 to a promoter, who calls
himself a believer, we should play free.
But there's bills to pay and the van needs gas,
the shirts will sell but he takes a tax.
We'll tear it down, just to build it up.
We gave it all but it's not enough.
Honestly, I never thought I'd see the end of my small town punk rock scene.
We had it all, but we watched it fall, my small town punk rock scene.
